Call for Special Sessions of ICOTA 9
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the 9th International Conference on Optimization: Techniques and Applications (ICOTA 9) will be held in Taipei, Taiwan on December 12-16, 2013. It is a continuation of the ICOTA series, which has been held in Singapore (1989 and 1992), Chengdu, China (1995), Perth, Australia (1998), Hong Kong (2001), Ballarat, Australia (2004), Kobe, Japan (2007), and Shanghai, China (2010). As the Co-Chairs of the ICOTA 9 Organizing Committee, we would like to invite you to organize a special session or stream for ICOTA 9. Special sessions and streams are to complement the regular technical programme with emerging topics of interest. Thus, they will constitute very important parts of the programme of ICOTA 9.
Each special session is 90 minutes in length and should consist at least 3 articles (Please submit your article as a Word format).You are also welcome to organize a special stream which could include more than one session. The organizer(s) of a special session should send an email with subject “ICOTA9 Special Session Submission (Name of the Special Session)” to:
ICOTA2013@gmail.com or ICOTA2013@mail.ntust.edu.tw
by May 31, 2013 June 15 ,2013. The submission should include the following information:
- Title of the special session (stream).
- Name(s)/affiliation(s) of organizer(s), and contact email address.
- Abstracts of papers contributed to the special session.
Special session/stream organizers who require letters of invitation for participants to obtain visa or authorization to attend the conference should contact conference secretary April Shyu at ICOTA2013@gmail.com or ICOTA2013@mail.ntust.edu.tw. The invitation letter does not financially engage the conference organizers; all expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the participant.
Important Dates: Submission Deadline: May 31, 2013. Extended to June 15, 2013.
