Special Issue of International Journal of Operations Research for ICOTA 2013

Optimization is an active research field which stimulates various interactions between theory and practice.  IJOR in particular making a special issue welcomes submission of papers related to this areas concerned with all aspects, both theoretical and practical, of mathematical modeling of Optimization.
 
IJOR is an international OR/MS journal and seeks to publish original papers. Papers with originality in theory, technical advancement, application, and/or case study in the following areas or review papers in important areas are welcome, but not limited to:
  •  Operations Research Theory, Methodology, & Applications
  •  Computing, Artificial Intelligence, & Information Management
  •  Stochastics & Statistics
  •  Decision Science
  •  Management Science
Any papers meeting the range of readers' interest in OR/MS related research fields or applications would be considered all publishable candidates:
 
Submissions

1. Please submit your paper in English through the website http://www.orstw.org.tw/IJOR both a Word and a PDF file. When you log on the website please elect a suitable Editor-in-chief according to your paper's keywords and that listed under the Editors-in-chief or American Region Editor-in-chief.

2. Manuscript requirements:
(1)    Manuscript should be double-spaced and has one-inch margins on all sides.
(2)    Pages should be numbered. Tables and illustrations should also be numbered separately.
(3)    The PDF file should appear without the author(s)' name(s) appearing anywhere in the file.
(4)    Manuscript submitted should not be copyrighted nor being submitted or accepted anywhere. For each accepted paper, the author will sign a copyright transfer agreement form.
(5)    All manuscripts submitted and potentially suitable to IJOR will be blind reviewed by the reviewers.
(6)    Manuscript shall include: Title, author name(s) and address(es) (in the Word file only), abstract (no more than 150 words), keywords (maximal 5 keywords and at least one of them must be elected from that listed under an Editor-in-chief), text, tables and figures (if applicable), references, and appendices (if applicable). In the PDF file, the authors' names, addresses and contact information should be removed.
(7)    References cited in text should be provided such as Chang (2002), Chang et al. (2003), Reference listing should be numbered alphabetically and appear as

Aims and Scope
Description
International Journal of Operations Research (IJOR) reports on developments in Operations Research, Information Systems, and Management Sciences, including the latest research results and applications. Original contributions and review articles describe the state of the art in specific fields, while there are shorter critical assessments of particular management techniques. IJORis both stimulating reading and a source for practicing decision makers, specialists in management services, operational research workers and management scientists, management consultants, academics, students, and research personnel. The aim is to meet the needs of accelerating technological change and changes in the global economy. The review of material for publication in the journal reflects this aim.
